Special Security Services Ltd is committed to protecting the data collected pertaining to my users. This policy details the collection, use, and protection of personal information I receive from site visitors. When you create an account across any of our applications, we collect:

• Company name and contact details (Business accounts only)
2.2 Location & GPS Data
âš Our GPS tracking applications collect precise, real-time location data. This is the core function of the service. Please read this section carefully before using any TracKez or location-enabled application.
• Real-time GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude) of registered tracking devices
• Vehicle speed, heading/bearing, and movement status
• Route history and trip records
• Geofence boundary data that you configure
• Stop locations, dwell times, and idle periods
• Total distance travelled over time
Background Location: Our GPS tracker apps collect location data continuously in the background, even when the app is not open. This is required to provide real-time tracking, theft alerts, geofence notifications, and trip history. You may disable background location access in your device settings, but this will prevent the app from functioning as intended.
2.3 Device & Hardware Information
• GPS tracker hardware identifiers (IMEI numbers)
• SIM card identifiers (ICCID) for IoT SIM management
• Device model, firmware version, and battery level
• Tracker online/offline status and last known communication time
• Mobile device model, operating system version, and app version (for the companion app)
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token for push notifications
2.4 Usage & Analytics Data
• App feature usage (which screens and features are accessed)
• Alert history (speed alerts, geofence events, theft mode activations)
• Maintenance reminders and service records you enter
• Driver profiles you create within the app
• Crash reports and error logs (anonymised where possible)
2.5 Communication Data
• SMS commands sent to trackers via the 1NCE IoT platform (logged for audit purposes)
• Push notification delivery records
• Support correspondence if you contact us
3. How We Collect Data
• Directly from you when you register an account, add a device, or configure settings
• Automatically from GPS tracking hardware via the Traccar server when a device is online
• From your mobile device when you use our companion applications
• From third-party services we integrate with (see Section 6)
• Via cookies and similar technologies on our web portals (see Section 9)

5.1 Who Can See Location Data
Location data is strictly access-controlled. Only the following parties can view the location of a tracked vehicle or asset:
• The account holder who registered the tracking device
• Sub-users or drivers explicitly granted access by the account holder
• Special Security Services Ltd technical staff, solely for support purposes, and only with your prior consent
âš We do not sell, rent, or otherwise share your precise GPS location data with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for commercial profiling purposes.
5.2 Consent for Tracking Individuals
Our applications are designed for tracking vehicles and assets with the knowledge and consent of all parties involved. If you use our applications to track a vehicle operated by employees, drivers, or other individuals:
• You are responsible for obtaining the required consent from those individuals in accordance with applicable local employment and privacy law
• You must inform tracked individuals that a GPS device is installed in the vehicle and that their location, speed, and driving behaviour may be recorded
• We provide features (such as driver profiles) to help document and manage this consent
Special Security Services Ltd cannot be used as a covert surveillance tool for tracking individuals without their knowledge. Use of our services for unlawful surveillance is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination.
5.3 Public Sharing & Share Links
Our applications include an optional feature that allows you to generate a temporary public tracking link for a specific vehicle. By activating this feature:
• You consent to sharing real-time location data with anyone who has that link
• You may revoke the link at any time through the application
• Public share links expire automatically after the period you select
6. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to power our applications. Each operates under its own privacy policy:

7. Data Retention
We retain your data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this policy:
• Account data — retained for the duration of your account, plus 90 days after closure (to allow for account recovery)
• Real-time position data — retained in active cache for the duration of the session; written to our database for the period specified in your subscription plan
• Route history & trip records — retained for 12 months on standard plans; longer periods may be available on Business plans
• Alert history (speed, geofence, theft) — retained for 12 months
• SMS command logs — retained for 6 months for audit and support purposes
• Support correspondence — retained for 24 months
• Anonymised analytics data — may be retained indefinitely as it cannot be linked back to any individual
When data is deleted, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is permanently removed from our systems and backups within 90 days.
8. Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data:
Technical Measures
• All data transmitted between the app, our servers, and third-party services is encrypted in transit using TLS/HTTPS
• Passwords are hashed using strong cryptographic algorithms and are never stored in plain text
• Access to our Traccar server and Firebase database is restricted by authentication credentials and firewall rules
• GPS positions are filtered and validated before storage to reject invalid or spoofed coordinates
• User data is partitioned by account — each user can only access their own devices and data

• Access to production systems is limited to authorised personnel only
• We conduct periodic reviews of data access and security configurations
• Third-party service providers are assessed for compliance with data protection standards

13. Google Play Store — App-Specific Disclosures
The following disclosures are provided in compliance with Google Play Store policy requirements for apps that access sensitive permissions:

• ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION — to display the user's position relative to tracked vehicles on the map
• ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION — to maintain geofence monitoring and receive theft/movement alerts when the app is not in the foreground
• INTERNET — to communicate with the Traccar server and Firebase
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED — to restart background monitoring services after device reboot
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE — to maintain reliable GPS polling and alert delivery
• SEND_SMS — to send emergency commands to GPS tracker hardware (only with explicit user action)
• VIBRATE / WAKE_LOCK — to deliver timely alert notifications
We request only the permissions necessary for the described functions. The ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION permission is required for geofence alerts and theft mode — without it, you will not receive notifications when a vehicle exits a zone or is moved while the app is closed.
